Joining us for this Sunday Showcase are Paul Jewell and Ken Abernathy.

4PM - Paul Jewell is a singer/songwriter from Memphis, TN, who draws on life experiences to tell stories in song. Some of those experiences are personal; others are observations of the lives led by fictional characters he imagines. Paul’s songs reflect a witty, reflective and quirky view of the world.

His songwriting influences include Guy Clark, John Prine, John Hiatt and Warren Zevon. After a 40-year career in the newspaper business, Paul retired and moved to Portland, OR, where he began to focus on songwriting and performing. He recently moved to Nashville.

5PM - Ken Abernathy is a singer-songwriter from Nashville whose love for music began while playing in church in rural Alabama. Rooted in honest self-reflection, his songwriting blends emotion, simplicity and real-life experience. He writes from a heartfelt place on a living room sofa intending to connect quietly and meaningfully.

These events are free, but minimum purchase amount of $5 is necessary and we highly encourage you to tip the artists for sharing their incredible time and talents with us. If you don't have cash they will have an electronic way for you to tip them so just ask.
